Mixed State is Danie Sopchak's band exploring a range of sounds using electronics, jazz and classical standards, and original compositions. Mixed State, fuses sounds together from influences ranging from Bobbi Humphrey to Emily Remler, to create a sound uniquely hers. Danielle performs what are the new standards of jazz (some of which come from charts made public to the masses in Terri Lynne Carrington's "New Standards Vol. 1") by prominent women like Brandee Younger, Cindy Blackman, and Jamie Baum.
